Match review and quality
Match review
Section titled “Match review”Library & Pools › Match review lists the library files that might be a playlist track. For each, choose Same track or Not a match. Until you confirm, they count as not owned, and your answer applies to every playlist.
You have a different version lists files that are another mix of the track (a radio edit where the playlist wants the extended mix, say). These aren’t counted as owned; the plan finds the version the playlist wants. On the track’s page you can choose My file is the right version instead.
Quality
Section titled “Quality”Library & Pools › Quality sorts the files your playlists use:
| Group | Formats |
|---|---|
| DJ quality | WAV, AIFF, FLAC, ALAC, MP3 320 |
| Worth upgrading | MP3 256 and AAC 256: playable, but buy a better copy when you can |
| Below DJ quality | MP3 and AAC under 256: not counted as owned |
For a file worth upgrading, the track’s page offers Remind me to upgrade. If you own the track on CD, I own the CD: remind me to re-rip puts it in the plan as a reminder. Own the Set doesn’t rip anything.
