Album bundles and CDs

Album Bundles: a compilation CD covering two tracks, an EP covering three tracks that saves 50p, and a near miss that costs more than buying singly.

Album bundles

Section titled “Album bundles”

Album Bundles lists releases with two or more of a playlist’s tracks that cost less than buying those tracks singly, and the plan points you to the release instead. Near misses are releases that still cost more, in case you want the rest of the release anyway.

Second-hand CDs

Section titled “Second-hand CDs”

With CDs switched on in Version rules, Own the Set looks on the Discogs marketplace for tracks no store sells as a DJ-quality download. A CD never replaces a download.

  • Prices exclude postage: each seller sets their own, from free to £20 or more. Totals that include CDs say so.
  • Discogs prices are shown for up to 6 hours after they’re fetched, then checked again.
  • When the CD arrives, rip it to WAV or AIFF into one of your music folders. The next scan marks the tracks as yours.
