Install the beta

Own the Set is in beta, for Mac (Apple silicon and Intel). Windows and Linux builds are planned.

Getting it

The beta download isn’t open yet. Join the early access list at owntheset.com and you’ll get an email when it is.

When it opens:

1. Download Own-the-Set.dmg.
2. Open it and drag Own the Set into Applications.
3. Open Own the Set from Applications. The app is signed and notarised by Apple.

Updates

Each time it starts, Own the Set checks whether a newer version has been released and shows a banner with a download link when there is one.

Each beta version runs for 60 days, then asks you to download the latest. See Beta limits.

Where your data lives

Your playlists, library index and choices are in ~/Library/Application Support/Own the Set. Deleting the app and that folder removes everything. Your Volumo token, if you add one, is in the macOS Keychain.
